Database Tech Lead

11+ years of Industry experience.

Experience working on multiple DB, both Relational and No SQL DB.

Knowledge of Cloud, primarily Azure.

Expertise in MS SQL DB.

Hands-on experience in large scale DB designs, procedures, triggers, views, functions.

Hands on experience in developing complex stored procedures.

Ability to understand system and Application requirements and define Database design keeping in mind Security, Scalability, and Performance.

Experience in designing and implementing ETL processes.

Strong debugging experience to handle complex issues of various kinds across multiple databases, stored procs, etc.

Experience driving Database optimizations for better performance, reduced cost and simplicity of design.

Experience with pros and cons of Indexing, Archiving, Backup & Restore.

Strong Communication skills to coordinate with Product Managers to understand Application requirements and explain the Database design.

Experience working with Product Manaagers and colleagues across Global locations. Should have good collaboration skills.

Experience working with Architects to define Deployment strategy and architecture for deployment in Cloud.

Experience working in moving databases from on-premises to Cloud.

Good Leadership skills to take ownership and guide team members to understand the requirements and build optimized tables and queries.
