The Data Quality Assurance Analyst will provide, among other things: hands-on testing, risk analysis, bug triaging, and various types of testing services to enable the data engineering team to deliver high quality products. The Data QA Analyst should have a passion for learning and software testing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Bachelor’s degree with knowledge in medical terminology and US Medical insurance sector.

• Understand and actively contribute to conversations during planning and refinement meetings, identify opportunities for testing, and advocate for our end users

• Analyze acceptance criteria for ambiguity and testability

• Participate in analysis, interpretation, and translation of complex health plan data, issues, trends, and relationships to ensure our customers data integrity and validity

• Identify any data outliers and document data anomalies for further investigation

• Thoroughly and accurately document identified bugs in a timely manner

• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

• Ability to review several rows of data in documents thoroughly and accurately

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

• Experience in data quality and/or data testing in health care domain

• An understanding of health care continuity of care documents preferred.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

• Working knowledge of SQL & Jira would be an added advantage
