Repair Data Specialist

1.Organizes and categorizes automotive repair procedure data by following a set of rules to determine the proper categorization.

2.Performs research to clarify understanding of raw data, where necessary.

3.Creates relationships between procedure data, references, and illustrations, and identifies value-added characteristics using knowledge of vehicle repair and various data handling techniques and software programs.

4.Reviews new and existing catalog figures to verify accuracy and quality assurance upon completion.

5.Maps and normalizes data received from various sources to ensure data is consistent and accurate.

6.Understands and resolves data composition errors.

7.Reviews and revises product data, including images, dimensions, descriptions and other characteristics.

8.Follows quality control checklists to ensure completeness and a high degree of accuracy.

9.Analyzes data in large volumes to identify outliers, patterns and potential automation opportunities.

10.Performs data reporting and aggregation duties.

11.Reviews and responds to feedback resulting from quality audits by making recommendations to improve performance where needed.

 

 

Education

School Leaving Diploma (or equivalent certificate examination) is required.

 

Experience, Skills and Key Competencies

At least 2 years of data experience, or related experience, is required. Must also be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:

Detail-oriented and able to work with basic to moderately complex data sets.

Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.

Ability to quickly find patterns, outliers, and quality control issues using data analysis tools.

Can apply principles of analytical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations.

Excellent technical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish effective and positive working relationships across the company.
