ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Expertise in the React Javascript framework. Experience in Angular and Vue is also beneficial.

Experience in writing visualizations in JavaScript, ApexCharts, D3, or other visualization libraries as well as HTML and CSS is a big plus.

Knowledge of JavaScript packages, package managers, bundlers, and their use in building complex interactive experiences.

Good understanding of web, web performance, chrome tools, http, REST and JSON.

Exposure to ArcGIS REST API and feature services.

Knowledge of compression techniques, real-time rendering, and the application of spatial data structures to create optimized 2D/3D content.

Solid grasp of using Git for code versioning.

Ability to create front end experiences that start with provided design files from tools like Adobe XD, Sketch and Figma.

Understand the basics of WCAG and ADA compliance.

Keen attention to detail.

What you’ll do:

Use React to assemble interfaces using predefined style and module libraries that follow brand guidelines.

Lead the most challenging (but exciting) part of any development project.

Work closely with User Experience and Creative Teams to translate concepts and ideas into interfaces that solve user problems.

Facilitate data connections with the back-end development team.

Bring Static Infographics to life using sophisticated js code techniques.

Use collaborative tools work within an agile team toward shared goals.

Communicate ongoing project status, needs and priorities with team members.

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.

3+ years of experience in front-end web app development.

Extraordinary communication and time management skills.

A passion for keeping pace with digital and technology trends.
