Typical Background, Experience & Requirements:
Education and Experience
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in IT or Business degree with IT experience
- Minimum 2 - 3 years overall IT experience with organizations greater than 1000 employees and with complex enterprise integrated systems.
- 1 - 2 years’ experience of Cloud based ERP systems.
- 1 - 2 years’ Practical configuration experience with the Oracle EPM Cloud Applications, including Essbase administration.
Technical Skills
- Good understanding of multi-dimensional database management technologies.
- Good understanding of object-oriented design, modeling tools and technologies.
- Familiar with core business process including but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management (Bank reconciliations), Projects & Grants, Budgeting, Forecasting and planning.
- Ability to maintain application designs using industry standard system modeling processes and tools.
- Demonstrated proficiency (by testing or certification) in CRS application technologies.
- Ability to learn new evolving technologies quickly and to understand potential business use cases.
Personal Skills
- Ability to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems, and suggest solutions.
- Ability to plan and manage concurrent tasks, assignments, projects, and deadlines.
- Ability to prepare detailed written instructions and documentation for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, administrative and documentation skills.
- Ability to take ownership of problems, work alone or with others to follow them to a successful resolution.
- Adheres to internal procedures and suggests improvements if needed. A strong sense of teamwork is a must.
- Excellent relationship skills, including written and verbal communications, and group presentation skills in both technical and business language.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to bring out cooperation from a wide variety of stakeholders, including management, clients, and contractors.
- Passionate commitment to quality and success.
- Flexibility with working schedule and ability to provide after office hours’ support.
Required/Desired Foreign Language
Must be fluent in written and spoken English
Mental/Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit at a desk; work at a computer.
- Occasionally lifts, carries, and /or moves objects weighing less than 25 pounds.
- Ability to make decisions which have significant impact on the department’s credibility,
operations, and services.
