Software Engineer Location: New Delhi or Bangalore
Relevant Work Exp.: 18 months to 5 Years Skill Sets: Desired Work Experience:
? BE / B.Tech / BSc / MSc/MCA or other equivalent degrees with computer science background / knowledge
? Hands-on Experience in the following:
o Developing applications in / for Linux (Ubuntu 18.04 or above preferred) or Windows. Linux experience is a definite plus.
o Building custom components and services in Angular 6+
o Invoking Async REST Web Services from front end
o Responsive design in front end
o HTML 5 / CSS / Bootstrap / Flexbox
o JavaScript
o Programming in Java 8+
o Java Spring / Spring Boot applications with APIs
o Ability to code back-end programs for complex domain requirements
o Databases like PostgreSQL 12+
o Writing and reviewing SQL scripts
? Ability to:
o Develop new back-end applications (exposure to front-end applications will be an added advantage)
o Develop / modify APIs
o Enhance / Extend / Modify / Bug-fix Web Layer, API Layer and database layer of the various applications
o Provide deployment assistance to the System Admin team – for deploying newer versions or patches to these Android applications in the field
o Desirable to be able to write programs / scripts for importing data from files / other systems
o Ensure project specific and standard practices are followed.
o Prepare or Review technical documents – Technical Approach documents, Technical Concept notes etc.
? Preferred experience:
o Exposure to tools to be used by system administrators and for monitoring.
Desired 18 months to 5 yrs. overall experience with adequate exposure in the identified technologies / skillsets
Should have experience in delivering good quality APIs and Java code as per provided specifications.
Should have experience in source repositories like Git / Bit-bucket.
Should have Good hands-on experience in developing APIs and Microservices. Also have worked and used its concepts in at least one project.
Should have Excellent code and component design skills with capability to research / implement newer technologies
Should be capable of working independently/ with minimal supervision
Should be proactive in creatively solving identified technical challenges in the project
Should have good debugging and problem-solving skills.
Should have Good written and verbal communication skills and have capability to write Design and Technical Approach documents
