Job Description:

• Experience in Aluminium smelter engineering design (Potline, casting units, ingots, billets, wire rods, cast strips, Rolled product unit, Anode plant, Alumina handling system)

• Basic, FEED, or detailed engineering design complied with project requirements.

• Accountable for successful completion of assigned engineering tasks for the project

• Performing design activities

• Preparing discipline documents for project requirement within a given time frame

• Review and approval for accuracy of documents

• Review design documents / drawings prepared by the design team

• Keep up to date with new developments of standards, process soft-wares, procedures and implement it to the day-to-day work

• Experience in discipline software’s

• Perform and review calculations

• Work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations

• Well conversant with International Codes & Standards (ASME, ASTM, API, ISO, ISA, IS, AWS etc.,)

• Knowledge in Spread sheet Calculations.

• Preparation/Checking of Datasheets, Specifications, RFQ’s and TBE’s.

• Knowledge in Vendor Documentation Review & Incorporation.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: BE – Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Civil & Structural

TOOLS / SOFTWARE EXPOSURE: AutoCAD, Aspen HYSYS, Aspen PLUS, Flare Net, AVEVA, Caesar, PV Elite, StaadPro, Math CAD.

TYPE OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Experience in Aluminium smelter plant, Oil & Gas Industries (onshore / offshore), Refinery etc
