Direct Responsibilities

 

  • Experience doing Production Support , Application Releases for  MSSQL  
    • Experience patching RDBMS (MSSQL)
    • Strong analytic skills , result root-cause oriented troubleshooting
    • Hands on experience on doing Second level support for MSSQL
  • Plan, test and execute Production changes successfully following BNPP Change Management process.
  • Manage Priority 1 issues to help define and communicate the issue and any necessary changes needed to resolve the issue.
  • Required Technical Knowledge/Skills:

    • Experience doing Production Support , Application Releases for  MSSQL  
      • Experience patching RDBMS (MSSQL)
      • Strong analytic skills , result root-cause oriented troubleshooting
    • Strong knowledge on governance, server build and administration of IT services in cloud based environments
    • Aware of all critical changes to infrastructure and applications that could impact service delivery to their business customers.
    • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team using strong analytical skills
    • Be service oriented, customer focused, positive, committed and have an enthusiastic “can do” attitude.
    • Be willing to do shift work and some weekends. Also be on call or attend incident calls outside office hours at short notice.
    • Hands on experience providing Second level support for MSSQL
    • Hands on experience providing Second level support for MS SQL High availability technology (Real Application Clusters.
    • Provide high quality ,balanced analysis and advice on a range of issues of considerable complexity within specified SLA
    • Take principal responsibility for the identification of key methodological or process issues in the team
    • Good aptitude in  comply with ITIL framework (Incident Management, Change Management,),
    • Understanding of Business Continuity requirements

    • At least 5 years of banking  experience as a DBA
    • At least 2 years’ experience in a multi-disciplined IT environment with strong background in service delivery ,Production Operational Support
    • Strong interpersonal Skills to interact with fellow team members ,fellow teams both regionally and local
    • Experience in an investment banking-focus business
    • Strong and efficient communication skills
