Our Enterprise Apps & SaaS Group works on the latest and emerging Enterprise Applications such as Oracle to enable the ERP and Business transformations for our clients. We look for candidates who are well versed in the Enterprise Application skills and can demonstrate a higher knowledge in Oracle JD Edwards Technologyto solve real world problemsand maximise value of the product for our clients.

The Technical Consultantis an experienced multi-skilled professional, with hands on experiencein JD Edwards Technical foundation.He/sheis a good team player, who is partof a team responsible formanaging the Administration/act as an Advisory to our customers.

The Oracle consultantis motivated to take strong ownership on actions, to find innovative ways to improve the services’ agility and efficiency, and to continuously gain more skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure & support JDE E1 application and its interfaces to other business systems
• Review, analyze, and modify JDE code & implement business logic changes
• Deploy and test production objects while maintaining user documentation
• Implement changes utilizing JDE Development Tools
• Provide technical documentation for all resolutions
• Support users by providing direction for workarounds, corrections and enhancements. Document resolutions on case notes. Communicate with users to find solution to case
• Prepare documentation to support process, functional, and technical specifications. Work collaboratively with business, IT, and consultant teams to analyze requirements, propose and execute solutions
• Work with users to build Business Requirements documents, implementing changes, creating and executing test plans and provide support for the introduction of changes and new functionality
• Reviewing, analyzing, and modifying JDE code to support the JD Edwards Enterprise One (E1) and implement business logic changes
• Govern the application configuration and future modifications
• Configure System changes and adapt business logic (JDE Configuration and Development Tools)
• Test software upgrades and enhancements
• Monitor integrity reports and work with end users to correct them
• Develop, maintain and modify security roles
• Provide business process improvement proposals to decision makers leveraging JD Edwards functionality and capability
• Collaborate with business SMEs, architects, developers/analysts, and others to create effective solution designs that integrate with the JDE platform.
• Participate in internal audits and work with outside auditors to maintain regulatory compliance
• Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques including performing root cause analysis and identification of corrective action for given problems
• Develop support procedures and continuously improve the application support process

Must have Skills and Qualifications

• 8plus years direct JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules (versions 9.0 and above)
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT
• Functional and Programming knowledge of JDE Foundations, Sales Order and Billing, Logistics, Contract Management, Case management and Financial Modules (GL, AR, AP, Address Book)
• Must have business services, BI Publisher experience
• Must have exposure to Orchestrator
• Experience in JDE Configuration and JDE programming environment
• Knowledge of JDE database structure and Integration mechanism (API, Extract, Import)
• Working knowledge of the JDE Enterprise One Toolset/Object Management Workbench
• Working knowledge of JDE Package and Deployment Tools
• Working knowledge of JDE Security Maintenance
• Advanced ability to design/program/code UBEs (Batch Application), Applications and Table Conversions utilizing the Enterprise One Toolset.
• Ability to debug Enterprise One "C Business Functions and to make modifications.
• Working Knowledge of Enterprise One Data Interface for EDI.
• Ability to handle/manage multiple simultaneous priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working directly with end users
• Strong creative problem solving and analytical skills
• Must be detail oriented and have strong attention to detail and project management skills.
• Strong business process knowledge (specific to the assigned functional area).
• Deep knowledge of JDE Database Structure and Integration mechanisms
• Outstanding communication, technical documentation and professional presentation skills
