Designation: Assistant Manager/ Manager (Procurement)

Location: Chennai

 

 Job description:

·         Should be able to manage complex and high value projects independently with proven negotiation skills

·         He or She must coordinate and prioritize sourcing activities with other sourcing teams in the organisation, follow on the overall IT Procurement KPIs

·         He or She must have good Excel and Presentation skills

·         Should have understanding of IT categories, vendors, market ( Hardware, cloud, software  AMC and IT services), its features

·         Develop sourcing strategies as per organization objectives

·         Locate domestic vendors keeping cost, quality and delivery time in mind.

·         Identify reliable vendors after evaluating their credentials

·         Prepare contract agreement with vendors including payment terms, in conjunction with the terms with the End Customer

·         Maintain documents as per ISO standards

·         Maintain and manage Non-disclosure agreement non-compete agreement with suppliers

 

Qualities required:

·         Commercial Acumen

·         Effective Negotiation skills

·         Ability to achieve stretched targets

·         Good Understanding of Enterprise IT infrastructure , Cloud Infrastructure and service models

·         Knowledge on IT vendors, partners and solutions at market place
