Job Title                       : QA Manual Tester

Experience                    : 3-5 Years

Location                        : Chennai/Coimbatore/ Hyderabad.

Description:

Skill set required:

Primary skills (Mandatory)

Smoke, Functional, Integration, System and Regression Testing, Black Box Testing, Test

Management Tools - TFS/VSTS/Jira preferred, Creating complex queries in SQL, Preparing

Daily and Weekly status reports, Experience in - SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile preferred

Secondary skills (Good to have)

Automation Testing, Performance Testing, API Testing, Knowledge on White Box Testing

Job Responsibilities:

• Possess strong functional knowledge on all the applications involved.
• Identify, prioritize and execute assigned tasks independently.
• Perform requirement analysis by going through Business Requirement Document (BRD) and Functional Specification Document (FSD).
• Create test scenarios.
• Create test cases ensuring test coverage at regression and integration level.
• Collect and prepare test data for execution.
• Conduct self-review of test cases prior to the Lead’s review.
• Ensure required test beds are available for test execution.
• Perform test execution to ensure actual results meet expected results.
• Identify, report and track defects till closure.
• Assist Quality Assurance Lead in preparing test estimations and test plans.
• Approach the Supervisor proactively for any clarity/assistance while handling tasks independently.
• Provide timely updates on associated tasks to the respective Senior.
• Ensure adherence to the software testing process.
