Job Title      : Deputy General Manager  - Sales

Job Description :

  1. Create, consult and implement effective direct sales strategies through the Regional Heads and support the sales personnel in each region towards achievement of business objectives from schools.
  2. Should be an effective communicator with a vision and patience to liaise/coordinate/execute assignments within the Institutional Sales department/other departments (Product, Training, Marketing, Accounts, Customer Service, HR, etc.) and ensuring the management’s business objectives are met.
  3. Should possess analytical skills, leadership qualities while exposure to cost control, compensation programme and incentive planning will be an added advantage.
  4. Create & deliver effective sales presentations to internal and external customers.
  5. Provide supervision through field visits and share personal observations as input to the department/Regional head.
  6. Coordinate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales meetings of each region, analyse and follow-up on the minutes of such meetings and ensure timely related actions business forecasts are provided, both in terms of sale value & stock.
  7. Competitor analysis & market research
  8. Should have experience in handling pan India operations at least for one year.

Requisites:

The ideal candidate shall process the following qualifications and competencies;

  1. Master degree in business and/or 10 years to 15 years of institutional sales experience with at least 5 years of experience working closely with a large sales force.
  2. Experience in recruiting high – performance candidates for sales position is an added advantage.
  3. Skills:  Good oral & written communication, analytical skills, interpersonal & man management skills and good leadership qualities.
  4. A strong track record of implementing effective sales plans and achieving business targets consistently.
  5. Proven business analysis and judgment with the ability to proactively support business to meet objectives.
  6. Good understanding of the schools market.
  7. Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.
  8. Business related computer skills which includes Microsoft Office Suite.
