Job Title      : Territory Sales Manager

Job Description : 

Responsibilities:

  1. Map the Preschools, Retail Stores and Corporates in the assigned territory, create a promotional plan, strategise and execute by thinking differently to achieve the set targets.
  2. Identify prospects and promote our concept and products.
  3. Develop & maintain great rapport with the C-Sec.
  4. Support the delivery and administratives.
  5. Has an eye on market trends and executes marketing activities with the support of the team.

KRA ( Key Result Area ) :

  1. Signup 25 Preschools in the first quarter…. And keep adding 10 preschools every month ensuring a minimum of Rs. 5,000/- per preschool.
  2. Signup 25 Retail Stores P.M. in the first quarter and keep adding 10 stores every month ….ensuring a revenue of atleast  Rs. 5000 per store.
  3. Signup 2 corporates every month post the third month to ensure a revenue generation of approx. 5L per corporate.

KPI : Key Performance Indicators :

  1. Sign up Preschools & Standalone and Chain Book Stores….. atleast 25 by the first month and keep adding 10 every month.
  2. Ensure sales and Brand Visibility in the stores to its best on a weekly basis.
  3. Participate in Local events to ensure BRAND visibility and Sales on a monthly basis.
  4. Organize Promotions in Ancillary verticals to boost sales….on a monthly basis.
  5. Ensure Visibility and sales through Events and Fairs….. as and when possible.
  6. Extend our titles for online sales.
  7. Corporate Sales….Ensure atleast 2 closures per month post  the third month. Need to start the process from the first week.
  8. Schools Sales…. Add our titles to the schoolbags first ….. if not atleast to the library.
  9. Support all operation, Marketing and logistic Functions.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate:

  1. Should be a graduate with or without a MBA in sales and marketing.
  2. Dynamic, self-motivated person and a quick learner with the ability to plan, strategise, execute and think differently with a social bent of mind.
  3. Has good proficiency of spoken and written English with ability to think out-of-the-box.
  4. Posses the ability to make power packed presentations to heads of institutions and teachers.
  5. Market knowledge is a requisite.
  6. Working knowledge of Ms- Office is a must.
  7. Due to the nature of work, the applicant must be willing to travel extensively in the assigned territory.  

Selection Process :

  • Interested candidates must submit a cover letter stating why they should be considered for this
  • position. The cover letter should highlight the uniqueness she/he has, with the reason why her/his CV should be considered in the first place.

If a candidate has been shortlisted, the following steps would be:

  1. A telephonic interview.
  2. An in-person interview  / Skype interview .
  3. A short presentation for 20 minutes using PowerPoint must be made about self and their uniqueness, her/his achievements made in their career,
  4. goals and objectives they wish to achieve in the days ahead and finally on their contributions to the society.

Experience Required:

The ideal candidate would be:

  • Between the ages of 25 to 30 with a minimum of 3 years experience in institutional/ concept selling.
