Job Description :

  *   Install and configure the database instances for optimal performance and security.

  *   Optimize database performance to ensure applications run smoothly without performance bottlenecks.

  *   Ensuring the database is secure against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.

  *   Ensuring the database remains available even during failures and can be quickly restored to a previous, stable state if needed.

  *   Regularly applying patches and upgrades to the database system to ensure it's up-to-date with the latest features, performance improvements, and security fixes.
  *   Planning for future resource needs based on usage trends

  *   Migrating data between versions of a DBMS (e.g., from Oracle 13c to 19c)
  *   Migration databases from On-Prem to AWS Cloud services.
  *   Performing cross-platform data migrations (e.g., from SQL Server to MySQL)
  *   Integrating databases with external systems (ETL processes, third-party APIs)
  *   Keeping detailed records of database configurations, changes, incidents, and processes to ensure consistency, knowledge sharing, and compliance.
