Qualificatio n:

  • Any Degrees - B.E/B.TECH/BCA/M.TECH/MCA

ITILv3 (Desirable)

  • Years of experience needed – 1 to 2 years

Technical Skills:

  • Good knowledge of VMware ESXi, vCenter, Virtual Machine, VM snapshot, VM migration/vMotion, VM build using OVA/ISO, New VM creation, VM decommissioning, etc.
  • L1 troubleshooting knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, DNS Records, Software Installation, Windows Terminal Services, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook/Office 365, and Server hardening.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, SharePoint, IIS and/or other industry standard server platform services including server’s hardware like Memory, CPU, Disk, NIC Card, power supply, etc.
  • Basic understanding of LAN topology, Routers, Switches, Firewall and Network protocols and Services, including WAN/TCP/IP (IPv4, IPv6), DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, etc.
  • Monitoring and management of automated tasks such as Backups/Restores of system/data, file transfers and scheduled tasks, etc.
  • Knowledge in Linux, Infoblox, ControlM, Seeburger is a plus.
  • Eyes on glass monitoring of Monitoring and ing tools, take appropriate action on s within expected time frame as per the pre-existing run books for supported systems and infrastructure.
  • Participates in disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity tests by performing documented recovery procedures and troubleshooting issues that may be encountered.

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to do multi-task in a fast-paced 24x7 ODC environment.
  • Self-directed: works independently and is able to fulfill job requirements with minimal supervision.
  • Requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines per SLA, work in a team environment, follow written policies and procedures.
  • Gather the required information and Collaborate with L2/L3 Support team members to properly manage customer enquiries and escalate when appropriate.
  • Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Excellent Customer Service Orientation, strong attention to detail when communicating with customers (verbal & written).
  • Provide backup coverage for other members of the Technical Operations staff when required.
  • Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.

Certifications Needed:

  •  Certification is not mandatory but having MCSA will be preferred.
