React JS Lead/Architect
Fielda is looking for React developers with strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills.
Required: Someone dedicated to the principles of good software development and user experiences. Must understand modern web development and tools including Git, HTML5, webpack, and React.
You must understand the JavaScript language: e.g. scope, closures, hoisting, polyfills, this & that, async & await, classes, object prototypes, callbacks, promises, and generators. Qualifications
· 8+ years of programming experience.
· History of implementing successful web applications.
· Strong understanding of JavaScript — including the ability to judge JavaScript code quality and push our team toward best practices.
· Strong understanding of modern web development (component frameworks like React, Redux state management, React Hooks, Storybook, npm package management, and webpack builds).
Technology Stack
· Front end is a fork of https://github.com/ant-design/ant-design-pro
· Apollo GraphQL to query the data
· Storybook to create independent components
· React Hooks
· Netlify CI builds
· Sentry error reporting
Responsibilities
· Write lots and lots of high-quality code!
· Code review and fix the technical debts.
· Manage the team on the technical side.
· Help to resolve the team members issues.
· Participate in the Agile/Scrum process, design sessions, and code reviews as needed.
· Prioritize your work and execute on ideas to meet these goals.
Additional Experience
· Experience with spatial data and GIS is a big plus.
· Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
· Experience with Docker is a plus.
· History of contributing pull requests to open source projects is a plus.
