Description         

• Responsible for evaluating mechanical parts, components fitting into PC/computer / electronic equipment.
• CAD skills (2D and 3D), Surface modeling
• Knowledgeable and proficient in all CAD skills and all mathematical functions related to these skills
• Utilize and incorporate general mechanical design principles, including design for manufacturing (DFM) and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Capability for design of tool and fixtures, if any, to enable the handling, assembly /disassembly of components and sub-assemblies.
• Knowledge in mechanical engineering layouts or schematics according to customer and manufacturing design requirements and specifications
• Responsible for continuous improvement - Coordinate with cross regional teams to identify and record the difficulties faced. Troubleshoot a variety of mechanical problems of moderate to complex difficultly under general supervision.
• Requires working knowledge of GD&T applications based on requirements.
• Requires experience of engineering change managements, analyze and trouble shoot issues.
• Requires working experience on any of the CAD tools like nIAutoCAD / Inventor/Pro-E/Creo .
